How to update table using Automation for Jira

Table Custom Fields for Jira allows you to populate and display a table with issue values or values such as current user and current date time.

Setup automation rules to automatically update the table.

1. Go to Administration → System → Automation rules. You can also type gg and search for Automation rules.

2. Create a new rule for updating table custom fields.

3. Select a trigger for the rule. For example, Issue transitioned, then click 'Save'.

4. Add a new action, search for Update table or Update properties table, and select the action.

5. Fill in the values to be updated, then click 'Save'.

6. Enter a name for the rule and click 'Turn it on'.
