User Guide for Countup Timer

Introduction

The Countup Timer for Confluence macro allows users to quickly know the time from when they started on the project.

Usage

Adding the macro

Type /countup in the editor and select Countup Timer.

For fresh installations, due to the effect of caching, it may take some time for the Countdown Timer macros to appear in the list of macros for selection.

Please wait for some time and try again if it does not appear immediately.

Editing the parameters

Click on the macro to bring up the Edit button ( 🖊 icon below)
Click on the Edit button. A panel will load to the right of the page.
Update the parameters on the panel as shown.

Configuration

Field Name	Default Value	Explanation
Title Text		The title will appear above the counter For non-empty value, the start date and time will also appear
Date	First date of the year in UTC (e.g. 01/01/2023)	Use the date picker to select the start date of the counter You can input date in the format dd/MM/YYYY For empty value, the default value will be used
Time	00:00:00	The start time of the counter. The supported format is HH:mm:ss For empty value, the default value will be used
Timezone	Viewer Timezone	The timezone of the counter Use Viewer Timezone if all your users are in the same timezone or timezone is not a factor, like the time for a soccer match. Otherwise, specify a timezone you want to use
Format	days:hours:mins:secs	The display format of the counter. The available options are days:hours:mins:secs days:hours:mins days hours:mins:secs hours:mins hours weeks:days:hours weeks:days weeks months:weeks:days months:weeks months:days years:months:weeks:days years:months:weeks years:months:days
Size	Medium	The size of the counter. The available options are Small Medium Large
Style	Rectangle	The style of the counter. The available options are Rectangle Digital Flip down Circular Roll up
Color	Black	The color of the counter. The available options are Black Red Orange Green Teal Blue Purple Gray
Label	Show	Choose whether to show label (Units). The available options are Show Hide
Position	Center	Choose the position of the counter. The available options are Left Center Right
Border	Hide	Choose whether to show border. The available options are Show Hide
