Gadget shows that there are issues but when clicked, issue navigator shows no issues found. This is due to time zone difference.

Total issues does not match issue navigator
When clicked on Total Issues link in the gadget, the number displayed in gadget may not match the issue navigator’s.
This happens if the selected filter includes issues whereby:

Date value is empty
-
Date value is not within the period selected (e.g. This Year)
