Allow Access to access Atlassian Products on your behalf

For all users using the app for the 1st time, the gadget will display a prompt to allow the app to access Atlassian products on your behalf.

The app will only need read access for the following permissions

  • View the profile details for the currently logged-in user.

  • View user information in Jira that the user has access to, including usernames, email addresses, and avatars.

  • Read Jira project and issue data, search for issues, and objects associated with issues like attachments and worklogs.

  • Read epics and their issues, and search for epics. Read issues from the Issues without epics category.

  • View issue details.

  • Read the details of issues, including Agile fields, and their estimations.

  • View JQL.

Calendar Heatmap is built using Atlassian Forge. This means the app is executed locally on Atlassian infrastructure.

Steps to grant access

  1. Load a dashboard with a Calendar Heatmap Gadget to see the prompt

  2. Click on Allow access button

  3. Click on Accept button to grant the app on the READ permissions requred

  4. Viola! The gadget will display normally

Steps to revoke access

It is also possible to revoke the access under the Connected apps settings if you do not want the app to have access.

  1. Go to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/apps

  2. Click on Remove access button for the selected app
