The settings are categorised into the following tabs:

File Type Blocking

| Filter Mode | Filter mode for uploaded attachments:

| Extensions | List of comma delimited file extensions to be filtered. | 
| MIME Type Check | Checks the MIME type of the uploaded attachment: 
 MIME Type checking provides additional protection because it is not possible to bypass file type checks by renaming the file extension. | 
| Exceptions | Always allow files without extensions

| Always allow password protected Microsoft Office files 
 | |
| Always allow Microsoft Office files encrypted with sensitivity labels 
 | |
| Always allow draw.io attachments | |
| Always allow Table Spreadsheet Macro (Table Filter and Charts for Confluence) attachments

| Error Message | The error message to display when invalid files are being attached to the issue. For example: This file type is not allowed. | 
File Size Checking

Virus Scanning

Quota Checking

| Quota Check | To check quota when uploading attachments:

| Default | The default quota (disk space) allocated for attachments in each space. | 
| Error Message | The error message to display when uploaded file size exceeds the quota available. For example: Insufficient quota available. | 
| Alert Threshold | The threshold to display the announcement banner. Enter 0 to disable the alert. 
 | 
| Alert Message | The alert message to display in announcement banner when alert threshold is reached. This space has exceeded 90% of the disk quota. Please housekeep the attachments or inform the Confluence admin to increase the quota. | 
| Permissions | Allow users to view space quota: 
 | 
| Tips | Whether to show tips in space quota: 
 | 
| Text | The tips to display in space quota. Default text will be displayed if left empty. Check out the checklist for Space Admins to housekeep attachments! |
