Release Notes for 1.3.0
Summary
Important Update Required!
We have made a change to the scope of our app to provide you with more functionality. However, to make this change effective, our Lookup Manager now requires Admin permission.
To ensure the smooth functioning of our app and to continue using all its features, please update the app to the latest version. Here are the steps to follow:
Go to Manage Apps
Find Lookup Manager
Click Update
Click Accept & update
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we believe that this change will ultimately improve your user experience.
Improved feature
To support more columns for comparison
With the latest improvements to our Lookup Manager for Jira Cloud, you can now effortlessly compare and update up to 5 fields in a single post function. This means you can save time and streamline your workflow by handling multiple updates all at once.
To have more Default Value fields
Previously, our app only supported one default field, which could cause issues when attempting to update different types of fields. We're pleased to announce that we've addressed this problem with our latest update, which now allows you to specify one default field for each Source/Matching field.
To clear the value when the default value is empty
The latest version includes a feature that allows you to clear the value of the Destination field when the default value is empty.
To stop posting error message as comment
We've added an additional option to the Comments Visibility section, which will prevent the Lookup Manager Cloud app from posting error messages.
Please note that you won't receive notifications when a post function isn't executed successfully.
Update fields without the field being in the edit screen
With this latest release, you can now update fields without the field being in the edit screen. This means you can use our app to prevent users from modifying specific fields while allowing them to view the values.
This feature gives you greater control over restricting users from updating certain values in Jira Cloud.
